We trust her implicitly to not only care for Sunny, our beloved one year old Cocker Spaniel, and keep her safe but Arletta also has full access to our house, is completely trustworthy and always ensures it is kept secure. Arletta goes above and beyond every time – we cannot recommend Charlie & Co Dog Walking Club highly enough!"
- The Bailey Family, Sunny’s owners -

"You can trust Arletta with your life, let alone your pups. She will care for your dogs even better than you do. She’ll know if they are feeling off, days before you do. She has an incredible sense of ownership, superb attention to detail, utmost care, and so much love to give your pups. It’s been a privilege working with her. The downside? Our dogs go absolutely crazy for her…I sometimes get jealous :)!"

dog walking in Oxshott

Dogs walking off-lead at Oxshott Heath, Surrey

Oxshott sits right on the doorstep of one of Surrey's best dog walking spots — Oxshott Heath and Woods, 200 acres of open heathland and woodland. I walk dogs here regularly, giving them plenty of room to roam, sniff and explore safely off-lead. Collection and drop-off is straight from your door, with muddy paws washed and dried, and a photo update so you can see exactly how the walk went.

dog walking in Cobham

Dogs walking at Esher Common near Black Pond, Surrey

I collect dogs directly from your door in Cobham and take them out to Esher Common, Oxshott Heath or The Tilt, giving them room to roam freely across open heath and woodland. Cobham's easy road links make the short trip out quick and simple. Drop-off is just as easy — straight back to your door, muddy paws washed and dried, with a photo update so you can see exactly how the walk went.

dog walking in Esher

Dog walker collecting dogs from Cobham, Surrey

Esher Common's mix of woodland, heath and ponds — including Black Pond and Middle Pond — makes for varied, interesting walks all year round. I regularly walk dogs from Esher here, tailoring the route and pace to suit each dog's energy levels. Collection and drop-off is straight from your door, with muddy paws washed and dried, and a photo update so you can see exactly how the walk went.

frequently asked questions

Professional, fully insured dog walker covering Oxshott, Esher, Cobham and the surrounding area. Below you'll find answers to the questions I'm asked most often — from group and individual walks to pet sitting, pricing and booking. If you can't find what you're looking for, please get in touch.

trust and experience

Why choose you over another dog walker?
I know how much busy owners juggle — this service is about giving you that time back, with total peace of mind. Small group sizes (a maximum of five dogs) mean proper individual attention for every dog, alongside being fully insured, DBS checked and canine first aid trained. Collection and drop-off is door-to-door in a van fitted with spacious dog crates, with regular photo updates so you always know how the walk went.
Do you have reviews or references I can see?
See the reviews page or my Google business page for more reviews from my lovely clients.
How experienced are you as a dog walker?
I've been working as a professional dog walker for two years, covering Oxshott, Esher and Cobham. I'm DBS checked, fully insured and canine first aid trained, and I work with all breeds, temperaments and needs — from lively puppies to older dogs who need extra care.

services

Do you offer group walks?
Yes — small group walks with a maximum of five dogs at a time, so quality comes before quantity. Every dog gets plenty of attention, care and a safe, enjoyable walking experience.
What if my dog doesn't like other dogs, or gets anxious in groups?
No problem — individual dog walks are available for dogs who prefer their own space or feel anxious in group settings. These one-on-one walks are tailored to your dog's pace, preferences and personality.
How do you decide which dogs walk together?
Groups are carefully managed to match dogs with similar temperaments, so socialisation happens in a safe, comfortable way for every dog involved.
Do you do any training?
Yes — basic obedience training is incorporated during walks to help reinforce good behaviour, and I'm happy to work alongside a local trainer (or your own preferred trainer) to reinforce your dog's training needs, if required.
My dog is elderly / has additional needs — can you still help?
Yes — walks and attention are tailored for elderly dogs or those requiring extra support.
Do you walk puppies who aren't fully vaccinated yet?
Yes — I am happy to offer home visits or garden play for unvaccinated puppies.
Do you offer anything other than walks?
Yes, several additional services:
Day visits — feeding, toilet breaks, and care and attention if you're out for the day
In-home pet sitting — for when you're away (see below)
Pet taxi service — transport to grooming or vet appointments, or anywhere else your dog needs to go
Post-walk feeding — a top-up feed after your dog's walk, if needed
Special care — for elderly dogs or those requiring additional support

pricing and booking

How much do dog walks cost in Oxshott, Cobham or Esher?
£20 per group walk, or £30 per individual walk.
How do I pay, and how often?
Walks are invoiced each month, and payable by bank transfer.
How do I book a walk or another service?
Please see the contact section — you can reach me by phone, email, or via the booking form link.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Ideally a few days before, but I'm happy to discuss your needs and try to accommodate. I usually work to a schedule with fixed days and times depending on your needs.
Do you offer one-off or occasional walks, or only regular ongoing bookings?
Yes — whilst most of my work involves regular ongoing bookings, I can offer one-off or occasional walks where I have capacity. Please get in touch.
Do you require a meet-and-greet before the first walk?
Ideally. This gives us a chance to meet in a relaxed setting, so your dog can get used to me before their first walk, and I can get a proper feel for their temperament, routine and any specific needs. It also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and see how I work first-hand.
What's your cancellation policy?
At least 24 hours' notice is required for any cancellations.

safety

Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured and DBS checked.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes, all dogs should be up to date with their vaccinations.
What areas do you cover?
Oxshott, Esher and Cobham. If you're a dog owner in or near these areas and looking for a local dog walker, please get in touch.
What happens in bad weather?
Mud and rain won't stop us — it's mainly extreme heat that can disrupt a walk. In the event of very hot weather, we can discuss alterations such as earlier walks or home visits, or if that's not suitable, the walk will be cancelled with no payment due.
What if my dog needs medication during the day?
Happy to work with you to help administer medicine, as per any vet instructions.
What happens in an emergency during a walk?
Dog safety is my number one priority, but should anything happen, this is covered as part of onboarding. We'll discuss and confirm your vet details, emergency contacts, medications and health history, and you'll sign an authority form allowing your vet to go ahead with any emergency procedures, at a pre-agreed budget.
What breeds or sizes of dog do you walk?
No breeds are too small or too big! For some breeds, an individual walk or a specially tailored walk may be required.

pick-up, drop-off & logistics

How does pick-up and drop-off work?
Collection and drop-off is direct to your door, in a secure, comfortable, ventilated and discreet van with bespoke fitted with spacious dog crates.
Will I know how my dog's walk went?
Yes — you'll receive regular photo updates of your dog enjoying their walk, so you can see what they've been up to and share with friends and family.
What happens after the walk — will my dog be clean?
Muddy paws can be taken care of if required, with a warm water dog shower and towel dry before drop-off.
Can my dog be fed after their walk?
Yes, if required — so your dog has a full tummy before their post-walk dog-nap.
What if my dog is unwell on the day of a walk?
Happy to adapt the walk, or still visit at home instead. If the walk needs to be cancelled, that's completely understood — just as much notice as possible would be appreciated.

pet sitting

What does in-home pet sitting involve?
Pet sitting is provided in the comfort of your own home while you're away, keeping your dog's routine familiar and stress-free. This personalised care helps reduce the anxiety that boarding or kennels can often cause, giving you peace of mind while you're away.
Is pet sitting available to anyone?
This service is available to ongoing walking clients only.
